​Hatha Yoga is a complete exercise system. It mobilises joints, keeps your back wonderfully flexible and tones every muscle in the body. Helping you create a body shape you are happy with. As the exercises are combined with slow deep breathing it will also help you relax, overcome stress and help you sleep better. Yoga is non competitive, you will work at your own pace and recognise your own limitations.


During the class we will be working every area of the body by using balancing postures, stretches, breathing techniques and relaxation. By uniting all these things you will be working to get your body into the best physical state, leaving the mind calm, clear and relaxed. This is what the word Yoga means, to unite.

​There are many benefits to come from yoga breathing techniques, these can be achieved by coordinating the mind and the bodily systems; improves circulation, increased oxygen supply to all cells of the body including nerve cells, promote healthier tissue, reduce tension, calm nerves and encourage extra vitality due to more efficient delivery of Prana (life force) throughout the body.
